Periodically send Slack message while ticket is Open

Hey Atlassian Community.

I'm trying to automate sending a message in Slack when certain Jira tickets are created that require an approver to Close.

It would be very helpful if this message could be periodically resent every hour or so while the ticket is still open while tagging the required approvers.

What would be the best way to go about implementing a message that sends periodically while a Jira ticket is open automatically?

Hi David,

Thanks for letting us know on this issue, I've been able to reproduce this on our test instance and raised a new bug report:  JRACLOUD-70793.

While we'd love to say this will be fixed soon, we're unable to give an estimate for fix as our bug fix team need to do an initial assessment and then prioritise the issue against our current backlog.
