In the new Jira issue view, Labels only appear for Next Gen projects; they do not appear for Classic projects. Every configuration option we evaluate indicates that Labels should be visible, but they are not.
The roles provided to you in the Log Work drop down are dependent on the logged in users available roles within the Project. In the example above that user probably only has been added to the Developers and Testers Roles within the Project Administration > Roles section.
Can you check that & if that is not the case we can look further into the issue
