Is there a way to automatically copy version from one project to another?

So a bunch of projects share the same release train.  I would like to be able to create versions in one main project and have those versions copied or automatically created in the other projects.

Is there a way to do that?

As an alternative to the answer given by @Nic Brough yesterday. As you already have a resolution which you wish to change I assume that you are already on a Closed/Resolved Status. So you can add to your workflow a transtition which self-references the current status eg from Resolved to Resolved using the standard resolved screen. This will then allow you to update the resolution albeit by a transition which to the end user remains in the same status.

You could put the resolution on the "edit" screen, but you will need to remove it as soon as possible, otherwise your users wil start setting open issues to resolved, which is wrong and messy to fix.

Using a transition is the only way to update a resolution safely.  Even if it's a transition back to the same status.
