I have one Backlog and 6 SCRUM teams to work on user stories. How do I assign an issue at team level so that I can create dashboard to show status for different teams. Also I want to add a team column at the combined sprint backlog view.

if it is just a GET - Call, you can just use the html-include macro (may it must be enabled https://confluence.atlassian.com/conf210/administrators-guide/installing-plugins-and-macros/enabling-and-configuring-macros/enabling-html-macros )and insert the URL of the API-Call in there.
