I created a custom field check box. If checked, saved, and then unchecked later, it disappears as expected from the View screen. However, it doesn't re-appear when the full issue is edited. It is on both the create and Edit/View screens and both screens are associated to the screen schema. My search for similar issues only found ones that said to use the full screen edit. This is in Jira v7.8.1. Is it a bug that is fixed in later versions? We're going to be upgrading to Jira 7.12.x (probably cloud-based) sometime soon. Or am I missing something?

Unchecked box not re-appearing under Edit-User Error

I have Admin rights to JIRA Project and still not able to see "Start Sprint" button

Hi there,

I have Admin rights to my JIRA project and have admin access identified under Manage Sprint. I am able to Create & Complete Sprint but not able to see "Start Sprint" button. Due to this., my "Active sprints" is not pulling/showing the Future Sprints in the JIRA board, however I can see the future sprints in Backlog tab.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

When in edit on the issue and still not seeing the checkbox, I tried clicking on Configurable Fields, and voila, that one wasn't checked. It now appears to be working fine. User error.
