Disable plus button in time tracking panel

How to make a Jira field mandatory?

Hello Community,

I came accross to find an solution to make approver field mandotory on issue screen.

And It should have description like, Please Enter Approver Name. Need an help to configure this.

Remove the permission for a user to log work.

You must be a registered user to add a comment. If you've already registered, sign in. Otherwise, register and sign in.

If we remove permission to log work then users also can not log work through a transition.
Found module webfragments.view.issue.timetracking.create.worklog in Atlassian JIRA - Plugins - View Issue Panels. After disabling it and View Issue Ops Bar Work Link in Issue Operations Plugin all known default JIRA buttons for log work are removed and users can log work only by transition.

The question is settled.

I assumed you'd coded to bypass the permission, which would be a lot better than hacking the core code.
