Hello,
I have created a custom field called "Sprint end date" that is populated when the Sprint is started.
Trigger: Sprint Started
Branch rule/Related issues: For issues in the Sprint
Then: Edit Issue fields
If the Sprint end date changes during the active sprint, does anyone know how I could use automation to copy the new sprint end date into my Jira custom field?
Thanks!
Hi @Luca Edler,
it should work just as you expect.
If you have a role in in permission scheme and if you assign a group to that role, all members of that group will get that permission, no matter if they were already members when assigning the group to the role or not.
But you will not see it in the Users & Roles Screen, when you add members to a group later, as the new group members will not (and do not have to) be added as users explicit.
So if it does not work as expected, please check if the group is assigned to the role, if the role is used correct in the permission scheme and if the user is correct assigned to the group.

Hello,
That is strange that if you added a group to a role, the users of this group were added to the added Users. It does not work like this. If you add a group to a role, then the group appears in the group part for the role. If you add a user to this group, then this user will also inherit permissions from the role, to which the group connected. It will be done automatically.

Thank you,
I had this behaviour last week and just tried it again. Now it works as aspected...
When I add a group, just the group appears. Last weak, the group appeared in the right group-table and automatically it's members on the left in the users-table.
Well, I think it works now. Thank you for your answer!
