How to compare a value with lookupObjects

Sara Silva
September 26, 2023

Hi,

I need to compare a value (eg. Mary) with a lookupObject using automation.

I tried to do many things, but didn't work.

       First value: {{lookupObjects.name}}

       Condition: equals

       Second value: Mary

I know, {{lookupObjects.name}} is Mary, because i put "Add value to the audit log", before "Advance compare condition" and show me "Mary".

Could you help, please.

Thanks

@Jon This plugin is not yet available for JIRA Cloud, but the vendor (ALM Works) hopes to have a Structure cloud solution in late 2018 and you can help ensure they build the product you need: If you're willing to share your desired cloud use cases, and other thoughts about what you'd most like to see in a Structure Cloud product, please consider joining the Structure Cloud early access program (EAP).

You can learn more about the EAP, or join the Structure Cloud mailing list, here: http://alm.works/ceap

@Jon Please have a look at the features of Structure plugin: https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/34717/structure-for-jira-projects-at-scale?hosting=server&tab=overview

It is really very useful plugin to view simple and complex issue hierarchies (default as well as customized).

On the viewability of subtasks, I know you can see the subtasks but instead of listing them like the below screen shot to simply show that there are 8 subtasks total, 7 in progress or something like that. cause some of these issues may have 50 subtasks.. thanks again. Capture11.PNG
