Meaning if I have the main ticket which is JIRA-01 and it is in Closed status and before I reopen this ticket there is a required Text Field (Single Line) that will input the reference JIRA ticket number (ex: JIRA-02) Is it possible that the inputted ticket number in text field should be in a specific status before it reopen?

How does ORDER BY assignee works?

Hello team,

One of my users built a JQL where the order is by assignee ASC.

Ex.: project = ABC ORDER BY assignee ASC

The results are showing names in this order:

Why is Adam showing up before Ada?

My explanation is that Jira uses each letter sequentially regardless if it’s part of the first name or last name.

In this case, M comes before T.

Can anyone confirm my theory?

It is possible. You would need an add-on for it like Power Scripts, ScriptRunner, Groovioli, Mygroovy etc.
