How do I change the default value for the resolution field on the resolve issue screen?

Right now the default value for the Resolution field on my Resolve Issue screen is set to "Done." How do I change that to default to a different resolution value? 

Note: The "Resolution" field is NOT a custom field.

Thanks Jaime but the copy was failing due to a validation script within the workflow.

Hi, Arijit.

 

There are many things that may be causing it. One thing you should check is whether the person who's not being assigned has the 'Assignable user' permission for this issue type in this project. Otherwise, you shouldn't be able to assign issues to them.

 

If you can't figure it out, you can always open an issue at support.atlassian.com.
