Global Automation - Field Value Change Trigger

Good afternoon,

We have an automation set up with the field value change trigger set to "value added", but it is also updating the field whenever a value changes as well. Any ideas?

Thanks for your reply.

My board is scrum board that doesn't have any sub filter.

The filter query for the board is filter = "All Projects" AND Team = 8 AND issuetype not in (Initiative) ORDER BY rank ASC
