Field change - what was the previous value

Hi Community,

I am playing around with Automation in JIRA projects and successfully send a notification when a field gets a certain value.

I would like to improve this by checking previous and current value of a specific field so I can trigger a much better notification.

It is possible to access the previous value somehow?

Do not delete users, it destroys referential integrity and your audits.

Use the user management to "disable" users instead.  These users do not count towards your licence count. 

You can see the number of "active" users consuming licences in the "manage applications" admin page in Jira and the "licence" page in both Jira and Confluence.
