Can the JIRA Trial version be updated?

We have a trial version of JIRA 7.9.1 and would like to update to 7.10 - keeping it as an evaluation version. Is this possible?  I do not see anywhere in JIRA where this can be accomplished.

Yes, you can upgrade trial installs.

A trial is just about the licence (trials expire and stop write access to the system until a new valid licence is added - full or new evaluation).  The software you've installed is no different to a proper full installation.
