Should I tag version to stories completed in the past for a new release?

I have joined a project and I am putting a release together. Lets say 60% of stories are already done but not tagged with the new release version and then there is the other 40% which I know I should tag. So the question is should I retrospectively tag the release version of the 60% to make the report accurate or not?

Hello,

What do you mean by tagging a release version? You mean to set the Fix version field in an issue?

Also you asked about a report? What report do you use?

The burn up diagram does not depend on the Fix version field. It depends on the Sprint field.
