Need help, when we select value in one field, it shows only some values and some values hidden in th

We have a requirement based on two single select choice custom fields DAP Reason 1 DAP Reason 2 and 10 values in the DAP Reason 1 and 15 values in DAP Reason 2.

When we select DAP Reason 1 values, only some values are shown in the DAP Reason 2 field and some values are not shown in the DAP Reason 2 field.

Actually I think I got it. I was in the new Jira view mode and from what I read, you can't configure the fields yet. When I turned this new view off, suddenly my columns were there. If anyone knows differently, please let me know!
