Managing Agile Boards and Reports - Version Panel - Kanban v Scrum

i'm working on this "managing agile boards and reports". the documentation and the video state that the version panel is ONLY available on scrum boards. In real life i'm looking at a kanban board with a versions panel. So, is the documentation incorrect.

Hi @D Y,

Yes! You can certainly make the Component field mandatory on the Issue Create screen. As a JIRA Admin, you can go to the Administration (Cog Wheel) --> Issues --> Field configurations --> Click on the Filed Configuration being used --> make sure the Component field is available and mark it 'Required'.

Please understand that there may be multiple Field Configuration Schemes associated with this Field Configuration that you made a change to and that the change will be reflected in all the places where this Field Configuration Scheme is being used.
