I noticed in Jira software cloud, there is no ranking (1, 2, 3, etc.) field, just the highest, high, etc. I created a custom field called Epic Ranking where we can rank from 1-20 for features / functionality. The issue its a manual update.
Does premium offer a number ranking and or any suggestions.

from your question I conclude that not all groups on the AD side are visible in Jira. Please check the access to AD (AD user, password, connection, base DN and especially Group DN). You wrote that no changes where made to the groups, but have the groups been moved to another OU or is there a change to the OU structure above the group OU?
Could you check the application log for AD/LDAP messages?
