Issue to Epic

Hi,

I am using Jira for the first time and I have created an Epic in my timeline and then created a Task Issue in my board.

When I click on the Issue in the board, how do I assign it to my epic? 

I know I can do it from the timeline by creating a child issue then searching for it but that takes too long.

I didn't see any product suggestions similar to this when I searched this afternoon; resource leveling may remain a functionality for add-ons like Portfolio. You can, however, submit it as a product improvement via the Atlassian support page at https://support.atlassian.com/contact/#/
