Is it possible to hide issue types on the creation option?

Good question, definitely looks like a bug to me. 

You definitely have an bug here, but it would be useful to confirm exactly where.  Could you give us a screenshot?  Feel free to obscure your data (names, your urls, and definitely SEN or licence details) - it's the location when you see it that I'm looking for.
