How to open links in new browser tabs?

We've been asking for this feature for two decades... any ideas on a timeline here? The current workflow blows

Hi Roger,

Would you know if these links on the issues are Inward Issue Links? By default, the is blocked by is an Inward Issue Link where there's a known bug in Jira which doesn't export Inward Issue Links when exporting issues to CSV:

• Export Excel CSV does not export the Inward issue link

You can view the types of Issue Links on https://<instance_name>/secure/admin/ViewLinkTypes!default.jspa.
