How to make a form field required in Jira Work Management?

I created a Work Management project in Jira.

I created a form and added a single select custom field. However it looks like there are no possible ways to make this field required from the UI as I have seen in Service Management.

Is this not possible?

From my experience and observation, when you give your custom fields a title that looks like a description, chances are text will wrap. Maybe try to shorten the titles.
