Can I re-use the workflow that I have created for one Agile Project with other projects?

How do I set the default value of a custom field programatically through Jira's REST API?

I am trying to add a "Message Custom Field (for view)" to my project. I am able to create the custom field through the REST API, but I am unable to set the default value programmatically. Since this is a read-only field, it will not be displayed unless the default value is defined.

Workflows and status are part of Jira (even when Agile is involved). Columns are part of Agile and belong to boards.

To get your columns the same, you need to edit the configuration of the board, so that it reads and maps the new workflow.

You must be a registered user to add a comment. If you've already registered, sign in. Otherwise, register and sign in.
