How do I limit the Priority list for bugs?

Jennifer Baum
April 18, 2023

We have multiple priority levels that we use specific to bugs (Highest, High, Medium, Low, Lowest).  I just added Must, Should, Could, Won't to our drop down choices for priority.

For BUGS:  I only want to have the choices in the drop down for Highest, High, Medium, Low, Lowest

For all other issue types (Epic, Story, Task...) they can see all choices or I can limit those too -- its less of a big deal for these issue types.

I just don't want users getting confused when working with bugs and not knowing what priority to choose since this is a new feature we are implementing.

Anyone know how to do this?

Hi @Omprakash Thamsetty

Add the SSL certs to the JVM for each of the applications.

How to import an existing SSL certificate for use in Tomcat

For example: Import Jira's cert into Bamboo's keystore and vice versa. Then the applications should have no issues linking.

Caused by: sun.security.validator.ValidatorException: PKIX path building failed: sun.security.provider.certpath.SunCertPathBuilderException: unable to find valid certification path to requested target

Unable to Connect to SSL Services due to PKIX Path Building Failed

Thanks for the reply.

It worked after importing the certificates into cacert file.

I imported the Jira and Bamboo servers secure certificates into java_HOME\jre\lib\secure\cacert file in both machines.

Bascially in Jira machine needs to import jira certificate and bamboo certificate.

In bamboo server needs to import jira and bamboo certificates to work fine.

Thanks,

Om

Glad it's working. Note that the cacerts file will be overwritten after upgrades.
