Yes, and the concept is still nonsense.

A sprint is a set of stories that you commit to dealing with in the sprint.  A story is either done, or not done.  If it's not done at the end of the sprint, then it moves to the next one.

Sub-tasks are part of a story.  They're "in a sprint" because they are part of the story.  It's nonsense that parts of a story don't move with it, they're part of it.
