I'm using one of the recommended "next-gen" templates (KanBan) but after I mark a task as done it stays at the top of the backlog screen and in the "done" column on the board. Will these go away after some sort of time-out?  Is this configurable? I can understand them staying on the board in the done column, but they should immediately be gone from the backlog screen in my opinion.  I'm not using Sprints at all. I'm worried about what my backlog will look like in a couple weeks or months...

Hi Govardan,

I think you are looking at how to customise how the sub-tasks look in the Issue View screen, rather than the Issue Navigator, is that right?

If it is, you may want to look at the Jira KB

Hello Govardan,

I think this should be possible using the same way as described in the documentation below:

https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRA/How+to+display+the+issue+type+name+in+issue+navigator+column+beside+the+image+icon

You just need to do some modification to your velocity files.

I hope that helps. :)
