Hello,

One of my customer asked me a question about the different results in using JQL belows :

  • assignee = "abc@abc.com" AND resolution = Unresolved
  • assignee = "abc@abc.com" AND resolution = "\"Unresolved\""

Please let me know the difference of above two JQL.

Regards, JJ

In our scrum teams; since we are measuring the cycle time of the task, we handle both design and development tasks in the same project.

We have a workflow similar as below;

Backlog >> Analysis >> Analysis Done >> Design >> Design Done >> Development >> Development Done >> Ready to Prod >> Done.

And, we created different boards for different positions with JQL filters.

For ex:

Analysts have a board and they only see the Backlog >> Analysis >> Analysis Done statuses.

Designers have a board and they only see the Analysis Done >> Design >> Design Done statuses.

Developers have a board and they only see theDesign Done >> Development >> Development Done statuses.

Hi Mesut,

  1. Are you able to track a feature's status through all of these states? For example, I'd like to know if the feature is analysis complete, design complete, or development complete?
  2. Within each of these boards, can you have separate sprints and track velocity/burn down for each board?
