Velocity chart which is provided out of the box in Jira support committed vs completed points for last several sprints, but it's the points and the sprint names in the chart. Once you click on the sprint name then you will be navigated to the sprint report for that sprint to see the list of issues completed
While in the sprint report you see both stories and points for that sprint only and not across last several sprints. If you want to have a sprint report but across last several sprints showing points burned and stories completed then you would need to use reporting plugins.
