Can the default sort order be set on a Quick Search?
Can we add premium Jira to only a few users?

We just learned the Jira premium will have advanced road-mapping features. Our org is interested in this feature but only our PM team accounts need access. Is there a way to only assign premium accounts to certain users? We're currently using a 3rd-party road-mapping tool integrated with Jira but would love to just use Jira as a one-stop shop. We can't justify double the cost for all of our users for just roadmaps though.
Atlassian Team members are employees working across the company in a wide variety of roles.

Unfortunately, you cannot set the sorting order until your search is run in the basic search method. However, there are more sorting options available using jql queries in the advanced search method:
