Adding values from several subtasks and populating total in parent

Basically, I have a field in several subtasks. The field is called "Failure". I want to total up all of the numbers in the subtask "Failure" fields (there are 6 subtasks) and put the total in the parent field called "Total Failures" using automations.

Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Hi Julian,

You can do this using the Power Scripts add-on.

There is a video tutorial walking you through how to automatically create a related issue upon issue creation here. You would just need to apply this logic to your done transition.

If you give it a try and get stuck just drop a note and we'll give you a hand

Good luck!

Can you provide a little more information.  There are several different ways something like this can be accomplished.  Are you saying that I have an issue that we will call develop.  When develop is complete it changes as an issue into test?
