A text description is displayed while the description is empty

Hi,

I met a strenge case:

In Issue>Custom fields page (not in Field Configurations page), where we can create new fields, change field name, configure use contexts, and possibly give a default description for a field. I have a field which had a description, and I removed it, but the previous description is still displayed under the field on the configuration page itself (I do not talk about the Field configuration used in a Field configuration scheme). I don't know if it's a bug or there is a solution to it.

Has someone experienced the same problem ?

Hi Mariusz,

I have not been able to recreate this problem in my 7.12.1 version of Jira.  I suspect that this is being caused by a plugin to Jira you have, or a script in your Jira instance that might be changing a font in some way.

I would be interested to see if you can temporarily disable the user plugins in your Jira site.  Steps on how you can do this are in Disabling and enabling apps.   If you can disable a plugin and this problem disappears, then it likely indicates that this plugin is injecting something unexpected onto the page.   From there, depending on the vendor of the plugin, perhaps we can then direct you to on how to get further support for this problem.

Are you by chance running Zephyr for Jira?  I have heard of at least one other recent report of the newer versions of this plugin could be including a different font.
