Hello everybody!

I have the following problem: I want to know how long a request travels from one state to another. Can you help me:

I want it to start counting time in the "em andamento" status and stop in the "contratos enviados" status with labels "venda_extraordinaria"

Can you help me?1.png2.png

Hi @Raphael Martins

Welcome to the community !!

You can use Jira Rest API's to pull this data. Or for readymade solution, if you are fine with a mktplace app, you can try out

Time in Status Reports

One of the many reports which the app provides is Time Between Status Transitions, wherein you can specify the from and to statuses and the app will calculate the time between them.

Also the add-on provides the time in status of the entire issue workflow and there are 20+ reports in the app which help to meet a wide range of use cases.

More details here

Do try it out.

Disclaimer : I work for RVS, the vendor for this app

Hi @Raphael Martins 👋 Welcome to the community!

Unfortunately, there is no way you can find with native gadget, but you can achieve it with Time Between StatusesYou just need to set up when the add-on should start and stop count.

You can also set up highlights of values that exceed the permissible level, and in this case, you can receive issue and email notifications.

Hi @Raphael Martins,

You cannot do this with Jira reports or gadgets.

But you can easily calculate and display this info on your dashboards by using the gadgets offered by our Great Gadgets app.

For example the Control Chart gadget can display the issues by their time spent between 2 statuses (configurable). If you hover an issue in chart, you will see the cycle time for that issue.

This gadget includes also a Data tab with detailed info about each issue, that you can easily export in CSV.

Very helpful for you could be also the Cycle Time Trend chart and Histogram Chart gadget offered by the same app all being localized in Spanish. See them all explained in this article:

You could start with a free 1-month trial. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact support@stonikbyte.com.

Thank you,

Hi @Raphael Martins

Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

There is no built-in solution for time in status info in Jira. If you prefer using a marketplace app, you can try Status Time Reports app developed by our team. It mainly provides reports and gadgets based on how much time passed in each status.

Here is the online demo link, you can see it in action and try without installing the app. For your case, you can have a look at Time in Status for Each Issue report.

For further details, you can have a look at Status Time Reports How to Videos or schedule a demo with us

  • This app has a dynamic status grouping feature so that you can generate various valuable reports as time in status, time in assignee, status entry dates and status counts, cycle time and lead time, resolution time, average/sum reports by any field(e.g. average in progress time by project, average cycle time by issue creation month).
  • You can search issues by Project, Issue Type, Status, Assignee, Issue Creation/Resolution Date(and any other Date field) and JQL Query.
  • Status durations are calculated according to the working calendar you define. Once you enter your working calendar into the app, it takes your working schedule into account too. That is, "In Progress" time of an issue opened on Friday at 5 PM and closed on Monday at 9 AM, will be a few hours rather than 3 days.
  • You can set different duration formats.
  • You can export reports in CSV file format and open them in MS Excel.
  • You can also add this app as a gadget to your Jira dashboards and reach “Status Time” from Issue Detail page.
  • You can enable/disable access to Status Time reports&gadgets and Issue Detail page per project, users, groups or project role.

If you are looking for a completely free solution, you can try the limited version Status Time Reports Free.

Hope it helps.
