I have an automation setup to clone an issue when it transitions to done. There has been a request to allow for the summary to be edited between issues and I know when you clone manually a window popup allows the user to change the summary. Is it possible to recreate this in automation where when an issue is marked as done the person who completes it is prompted to edit the summary field for the cloned task? Right now I am just copying the summary from the completed issue.
Hi @Christian Van Antwerp , no, it is not possible to make the automation be user interactive. Automation happens completely in the background there would be no way to present something to a user for input as part of the automation. Maybe consider adding a send email notification that instructs a user to update the summary of the clones.
