Hi,
I'm working with students and want to transfer the project management to Jira. However, I'm not really sure if the free edition is sufficient for me:
I have different students in different projects. When I invite a new user to Jira this user can see and manipulate all projects but that's not what I wanted. I would like to give a permission that each student can only see and work on his own project.
I could not find a way to manage this in the free version so far, so my question is: Is this possible at all or do I need one of the paid-versions of Jira?
Thanks,
Markus
Hi @Mark,
Welcome to Atlassian Community!
The free plan does not allow you to set permissions, that feature is only available in the standard plan and up.
Thanks for your quick reply! That makes sense. I think our University has some kind of licenses for Jira, I have to check this.
