Printing JIRA ticket for Auditors

eric Warner October 25, 2017

My Company has not purchased the upgrade for better excel. Is there anyway to print a ticket out that includes all the comments?

@eric Warner, OPen the issue you need to print and use the export option.  You can export to Word or printable (and then print).  These options will include comments.

@eric Warner, it doesn't look like vanilla Jira is going to be able to do the activity export.  There is a feature request here:

Check out the associated workaround.  It's not the cleanest solution but it should get you the information you need for the auditors.

There is a plugin that allows you to grab everything during print.  History, Comments, Changes.

It's called issue history  and it is a free app.

What happens when you're in the jira issue view?  Do you have in the upper right the option "Export" with a drop down arrow?   Select printable from that menu.

You could also right click somewhere in the page and from the browser's menu click print page.

I can use Export, or print, but a lot of the information is missing.
