Pin Fields in JIRA


For a given project in JIRA, I need certain fields to be Pinned for all the users of the project. 

Can anyone pls let me know if you have done it and how to do so?

Hi @Kiruthika - All that the pinning of fields does is moves the fields to the top of the list. So if you need that for all users on that project, then just edit the Issue Layout and move the fields up in the order.

Go to Project Settings > Issue Layout 

Then choose the screen you want to modify based on the Issue Type.

Then just re-arrange the order of the fields. 

Got it @John Funk , that's how i m doing it now. But I liked that grey box which is like differentiating the important fields.. So thought there would be a way to have that UI across users.. :)
