One project, one backlog, multiple product owners

Deleted user October 4, 2018

My experience is one Product Owner = one backlog.  Any suggestions for how to manage one backlog and multiple product owners?  There is only one Jira project, one board, and one backlog.  But there will be more than one PO and dev team.  Ideas for how to define success, report on each dev team's burndown, etc?

@[deleted] - hi Pamela!

  1. What are the major products/product lines/or categories that are being managed? You can use project components or a few custom fields ("Category", "Product Line", etc.) to categorize the work.
  2. Create multiple boards for each product owner (PO). You can create a board and configure the board's issue filter to only show issues that PO cares about.
  3. If there are teams following Agile Scrum, you may run parallel sprints within a single project.

Hope you've discovered these tips on your own since you asked this question! 🙏
