A project manager has asked us to remove the bottom swimlane. However unlike the others there is no option to 'Delete' in the grey box.
The swimlane has a name and description but nothing in JQL.
Any ideas why this is?
Thanks all
Hi Ross,
There is always one swim lane on every board that you cannot control. That is to ensure that all cards matching the board filter show somewhere on the board.
If no cards meet any query of any of the other swimlanes above it, it will land in this "default" swimlane.
@Ross Brook welcome to the Atlassian Community!
Are you talking about a swimlane in an Agile board, kanban or scrum?
How are the swimlanes defined in the Board Configuration? By Epic, Query, ...?
It would be useful to have a screenshot of the board (configuration).
Thanks,
Dave

Thanks Ross, the name of the bottom query is not visible, but as @John Funk also replied, the basic swimlane cannot be deleted.
