Hi All, Could you please help me out on below for creating New Automation Rule in Jira Cloud.

For EPIC    (issue Type = Epic)   once moved to status =  Ready for Delivery - >   update field Solution Validation End Date with current date

For IDD (Issue Type = IDD) once moved to status =  Baseline Provided ->   update field Solution Validation End Date with current date

Hi @Maktumhusain Taseeladar

Create a rule with an Issue Transitioned trigger.

Then add a new Action for Edit Issue.

In the custom date field put: now()

Hi @Maktumhusain Taseeladar

Yes, and...to John's answer: try using {{now}} for the current date/time.

Using automation rules sometimes requires experimentation, so I recommend consider what you are trying to accomplish, then just create the rule, test it, and adjust it to improve.

To help you get started, please look at these sources and examples:

Kind regards,
