Hi, I want to move team managed project to company managed project. I have a field "Company" in team managed project, I created the same custom field which added in company managed project screen. when I am trying to move issues it doesn't copy data in this field
I'm Luka from codefortynine and if you don't mind using a third-party tool our app Deep Clone for Jira can clone custom field values when cloning issues from team-managed projects to company-managed projects as long as the custom field type is compatible and the names of the custom fields are the same.
Some information from this article https://support.atlassian.com/jira-software-cloud/docs/migrate-between-team-managed-and-company-managed-projects/ :
"Custom fields: These must be recreated in your new team-managed project. Team-managed project fields are independent from global custom fields. When you move issues to a team-managed project, Jira retains most of your issues' global custom field values (except component and version fields). But, we don't map them to your team-managed project's fields. Your global custom field data is stored against your issues but the fields in your company-managed project are technically different from the fields in your team-managed destination, so they will appear blank. This data is not lost (except component and version fields). If you move your issues back to a company-managed project that supports the custom field, the original values stored against it reappear."
If you move one issue to the company managed project and then do an advanced search and add the Company field to the search view, does any of the data appear?

I already added this field in company managed project but no, it's not working. I also tried to add in search view but same, its empty

Have you verified that the case is the same (Company vs company)? What was the process you followed for moving the issues to a company managed project?
