ModifyReporter of REST API

I have a question about "ModifyReporter" of REST API.

I would like to connect our tool and JIRA, so I tried to use REST API.
I could connect, but reporter is always same person who is connecter JIRA and our tool.
How can I set "ModifyReporter" changing from JIRA side?

I will tell you the way I know.

You can set/modify the field value based on your requirement with the help of Jira command line interface app. With the below action command you can set the reporter field value as shown below:

--action setFieldValue --issue "DEP-1" --field "reporter" --value "testuser"
