Migration JIRA 6.1 to 8.3

Heiko Nigmann August 13, 2019

Hi,

we have to migrate our data from JIRA 6.1 to 8.3. So I found out, that an update to 7.3 needs a previous update to 7.0.

How does this work with an update to 8.3?

Thanks!

Heiko

Yes you need to do step update,

6.1 to 6.4.xx to 7.0.xx to 7.3 to 8.3

Make sure your system has supported resources (DB Version, System memory) for each update before you do it. Also, update plugins (if possible) before Jira upgrade.

Thanks for your answer, I will try it!

So I will try:

6.1 > 6.4.14 > 7.0.11 > 7.3.9 > 8.3.2

Correct?
