Migrate all users from Delegated LDAP to Jira Internal, does their password migrate?

Edited

Hello,

I'm currently working on preparing our users for the migration of their accounts from Delegated LDAP to Jira Internal. I have reviewed the instructions provided, but I couldn't find any information about whether users need to take any actions during the migration process. It would be helpful if I could inform them in advance if, after migrating their accounts, they will be prompted by the application to set up a new password. Could you please clarify if this is the case?

Since we won't be using AD in the cloud, I believe it would be beneficial to first migrate the users from AD to the local server on our Jira instance before proceeding with the migration to the cloud. This approach aims to facilitate a smoother transition.

Thank you for your help/advice!
