Merge multiple Jira projects into one

Hi,
due to a unification of multiple companies we have three Atlassian Cloud subscriptions and each of which uses Jira and Confluence products:  
- https://mapsgroup.atlassian.net
- https://maps-spa.atlassian.net 
- https://artexe.atlassian.net
We would like to have a single subscription with a site that contains the merger of Jira projects and Confluence spaces. We would need support to solve these issues:

* Is It possible to change the name of an organization and its site?

* The documentation shows that multiple sites cannot be merged, work-arounds are reported, however do not guarantee that they will work for all customers and have various limitations. Are there other solutions, even if not documented? What procedure
do you recommend to address this problem?

* The desire to unify products arises from the need not to have duplicate counts of users accessing multiple projects. Could I move one organization into another and have user shared? From the tests made, each product has a separate count

Hi @MAPS SPA,

This seems like a clear scenario of cloud to cloud migration. I'll try to point you in the right direction:

• The procedure to rename a cloud site is described in this support article. In short, first of all reach out to Atlassian support and discuss your use case. Maybe one of your URLs can be renamed or it may be an alternative to create a new site and backup/restore one of your existing sites into the new one.
• Your research about migration options between cloud sites is correct. But maybe it is good to know that a migration assistant for cloud to cloud migrations is currently in the works and - according to the public roadmap - is expected in Q2 2021. So if the roadmap is telling the truth, it should be available pretty soon:

  

• Regarding the consolidation of your users in the new instance - this will be a lot easier when the migration becomes available. Yet again, when you reach out to Atlassian support regarding the renaming of your cloud site(s), discuss the best plan of action with migration support as well. They will definitely be able to put you on the right track with that!
