Nastassia Posivets January 24, 2023

Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

An Atlassian account is tied to a single email.  They can be managed or unmanaged.

If it's an unmanaged account, then it belongs to you and you'll be able to edit all the configuration (including the associated email).

But managed accounts belong to the owner of the domain, and certain things are not controlled by you - email being the main one.

You need to talk to whomever controls your email address, and bear in mind that the change will affect all the systems the account has access to.

okey, I have another problem, I'd like to change email, set another email, receive notification to this new email "Your email change request could not be processed because [new email] is already associated with another Atlassian account.", when I try to check what account is related to this new email - it redirect me to sign-up page.

I don't understand, how to change email then

You do understand how to change email!

The problem here is that your new email already has an Atlassian account.

I am not 100% sure I understand what you are trying to do here (or why), but I think you are trying to change the ownership of your (new) Jira and Bitbucket systems.

You can do this by logging into them with the new account you created for them, and adding the other account as a site admin.  Then you'll be able to log in with the other account and remove the new one.

I would want to check the state of both accounts by logging each of them into id.atlassian.com - hitting "administration" in there will also take you to the place where you need to do the changes to sites.
