I have an employee I want to give Read-Only access to everything Jira in my on-premise Jira product installation.
Using v 8.3.4
Hi @Donna Grare ,
you need to provide application access to your employee (https://confluence.atlassian.com/confeval/other-atlassian-evaluator-resources/managing-application-access) and provide just "Browse Project" permission on all your projects.
Hope this helps,
Fabio
Fabio - I do not have a group that is R/O to add them to. I have jira-administrator, jira-developers and jira-software. I do not see where I can add a new group and call it jira-readonly

Hi @Donna Grare ,
please read this guide in order to create a local group with JIRA ( https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiraserver/view-create-or-delete-a-group-938847038.html ). After doing that you can add your user to your group and go ahead with other tasks.
