We have recently discovered that mail being send from Jira, e.g. when someone is making an update to an issue, no longer is formatted in a readable way.
Earlier it was nicely formatted as HTML, but now it just looks like plain text.
Has anyone noticed the samme issues. And does anyone know if there is a WorkAround/Setting to this?

It is likely someone deactivated this on the instance.
Check that HTML formatting is enabled as described here in the default user preferences:

If the above is set correctly and the problem persists, I would advise reaching out to Atlassian support as we do not have logs to work with when analysing such a problem.
