I created a label for tagging a module name to user stories. But when I try to reuse the same label for another user story, it does not show up in the list.

Second issue is, same label (exact spelling & case) shows different results in filter.

Could anyone help me resolving this matter?

Hello @Swati Jain ,

Jira lables are something dynamic.

for example if a Label is created as "Anvesh" to tag some issues. it's fine.

If someone tried to use "Anvesh" but instead of "Anvesh", if they tried "anvesh" this is taken as a new label.

you can get different results for the above 2 lablels.

project =ABC and label = Anvesh --> it gives only with label - "Anvesh"

Project =ABC and label = anvesh --> it gives only with label - "anvesh"

Please check by searching the issues something like above JQL. if label created you will get results, if not the label may not created.

Thanks,

If you begin to type the label does it appear?
