Kanban Board and Backlog Screens are blank

When I access the kanban board and the backlog board on Jira in Google Chrome the screen is completely blank. This issue started the middle of last week and has persisted since. 

I am able to view the boards in Incognito mode but can't view in normal chrome tab. 

I have a feeling this may be a caching related issue but can't pinpoint it. I have tried the following to solve the issue: 

  • Open the console and then click 'hard reload'
  • Open console and then click 'Empty cache and hard reload' 
  • Open Application tab in the console and delete all relevant information related to Jira. i.e. local storage, session storage, cookies, cache storage. 

I have attached screenshots of the kanban and backlog board which you will see are blank. I have also attached screenshots of the errors which are displaying in the console.

I use ctrl+F5 in Chrome on Linux

Hi Martin, 

 

I sure did. Unfortunately I had no success. 

Its strange, the loading spinner appears and then when everything has loaded the screen appears blank.

Can you try to disable all Chrome add-ons?

Hi Martin, 

Thanks a million for your help. That worked. Turns out a crypto wallet extension I downloaded a week ago was causing the issue. Disabling it fixed the issue. 

I will mark the conversation thread as the correct answer.

Nice, happy to help :)

I'm facing the same problem. I even tried downloading a new browser (Brave), devoid of any add-ons, still facing the same problem. Only the breadcrumbs, Search this board input box, Insights button are visible. Other than that, the screen is blank, and the button that takes me to the board settings is also not visible.
