Jira automation - hot to check if the ticket is a bug type before running a validation on it

Hi!

I have made an automation rule, that based on priority set on the ticket populated a date field with a certain date. But this rule runs on all tickets type and I'm only interested to be run on bugs.

How can I do that?

Thanks!

Hi @Marina Loredana Culeasca , welcome to the Altassian Community and thanks for your question.

It sounds like you just need to add a condition on the issue type being a bug, like this

Please test this solution and give us your feedback if it works / helps.

Cheers
