I am new to Jira Automate and trying to build up a new project and we have a requirement to use components to support some reporting and filtering of the issues.

I am trying to set up Jira Automate to copy the components to an issue (in this case an Epic) from the parent issue (in this case it's a feature).

The automate steps I have are:

- I have a separate rule for anything that links to an Epic that seems to work fine.

The Edit Issues step has the following configuration:

An example of an issue that I used as a test is:

Where the parent link is populated but the labels from the parent have not been copied and the audit log seems to indicate that is cant find the parent.

Any advice is greatly appreciated!
